Why can't a freelance translator hang on to a company like a lawyer?

The previous two days in the knowledge to see a question, why do most lawyers choose to hang up on the law firm rather than do their own alone? This question reminds me of translation: there are many similarities and differences between free translation and hanging lawyers.
One of the first answers to the question above reads this:
The special feature of the profession of lawyers is that the fault tolerance is extremely low, resulting in very high personal quality requirements for practitioners. Single-man combat ability is strong, go where there is food, bargaining power is strong. This has led to a more equal and cooperative relationship between law firms and lawyers than to management and control. That's why the subject would think that lawyers and law firms are just hanging on to the relationship.
In contrast, the free translator (here mainly refers to translation) although there will be more fixed cooperative relations with translation companies, and will also sign cooperation agreements and confidentiality agreements, but relative to lawyers, this partnership is still relatively loose, very few "hanging" said; The company is in charge of doing business.

Free Translator vs Hanging Lawyer

This loose partnership between freelance translators and translation firms is determined by four main points, compared to the lawyers who are attached to the firm:
1. Freelance translators are only part of the translation process
Compared to the need for a single lawyer, free translator is only a part of the translation process, professional translation company will follow up on the translator's translation review and modification, of course, many unprofessional translation companies will translate the translator directly to the client, which is not within the scope of this article. This makes it theoretically less dependent on a single free translator.
2. Free translator qualification is more difficult to verify
A high-level lawyer holding a lawyer's license and multiple cases to win the case should be easy to conquer the law firm, but the free translator is not, even if you hold a translation certificate and the previous translation, it is difficult to explain what, not to mention in principle the translation is required to be confidential.
A person's translation level is not entirely determined or reflected by his academic qualifications, certificates or translation certificates, which I have stressed many times. In English translation, the standard of the translator is determined by his Chinese and English proficiency, translation experience and his logical thinking and retrieval ability, which can only be verified by long-term translation practice.
